ACOUSTIC 270 AMP HEAD 375 WATT OUTPUT 1974 Vintage

  • Price:$1399.00

This listing is for the 270 head and the 201 cabinet.. The other picture of the 4x12 model 105 cabinet is to intrigue you. This amplifier is from 1974 I believe per the information I could gather. It will power cabinets at 4 ohm 275 watts rms or 2 ohms 375 watts rms. So that is one or two 4 ohm cabinets which is what all acoustic brand cabinets were rated back then. Unbelievable tone really. 5 band graphic EQ. Controls for volume, treble mid range,bass,tremelo,reverb/fuzz. Also has a bright switch and ground reverse so you don't get shocked! This head looks great really. All the knobs and switches function properly and the jacks are in good shape. AC cord looks good too. This is truly a workhorse and designed to last forever it seems. What a sight to see on stage. Check some old The Who pictures from Won't get Fooled Again days. Also Rush and The Doors as well can be seen using them. The cabinet is a matching model 201 (2x15s and a horn). Most of these have been stripped down and sold for parts. This rig is just too much to ship however if you can pay for the fuel,I can deliver anywhere in the Continental United States. That would not really be too expensive expecially if you are buying the whole deal.
