Vintage Airline guitar from the 1950s. This was often know as the "poor mans super 400". The Kay company manufactured these for the Wards store as their house brand. The condition of this one is excellent. It has a decorated paint job that makes it look like maple flame on the back. I found one repaint spot the size of a dime on the side, maybe a repair, not quit sure its been there a long time. A faint scratch lower front, you will be hard pressed to find a better example. The guitar has Klusen deluxe tuners. I installed new phospher bronze strings " medium coostic " Knucklehead. The action is less the 1/8" at the 12th fret and the neck is good. I dont know if this is the original bridge , but it has plenty of adjustment up and down. IThe white paint trim on the edges of the body is even very good. International sales email for quote. Please be sure to check out our other Ebay store listings for more vintage guitar listings as well as violins, mandolins, ukes and coool retro...50 years of hoarding being sold.....Doc
