Description: Vintage Hofner 500/1 bass made in Germany. The style of this particular model indicates it was made sometime in the late 60's or early 70's.

Cosmetic Condition: Cool, vintage vibe- some light finish checking & light buckle rash on the back of the body. Beautiful, golden patina.

Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged, cream-colored binding & black side-dot markers. Rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Closed-back tuners with in perfect working condition.

Body: Violin-shaped, hollow maple body with top & back binding. Trapeze tailpiece with floating ebony bridge & adjustable saddle. Pearloid pickguard with Hofner logo.

Pickups: Hofner single blade pickups. Dual volume controls; Rhythm/Solo switch; Bass & Treble on/off switches.

Set Up: Professionally set up by our guitar tech & strung with brand new .45-.100 gauge strings.

Playability / Sound: Nice, low action; smooth playing neck; classic Hofner tones!

Case: Original hardshell case included.
