Your Position: Home>Vintage> Vintage 1960's Norma electric guitar. Model EG 665-2HR. Barney Kessel style. NR.
A nice vintage Norma hollow body electric guitar. Made in Japan in the 1960's , these are getting harder to find. Double pointed cutaways like a Gibson Barney Kessel. Hollow brown body with white-black-white binding on the front. White bound F holes. Single white binding on the back. 2 pickups with volume and tone knobs for each. Rosewood fingerboard with Gibson 345 style double slant pearl inlays. Vibrato tailpiece , (missing the bar and spring). Chrome hardware. Model EG 665-2HR. Serial number 2040. Overall this guitar is in great condition. There are a few light scratches on the back of the body , and 2 on the front near the controls. A light fret dress may be in order as the A string 5th fret , and the D string 5th fret are buzzy. Everything else is fine. Good action and playability. Could be a Jazzer , or a feedback machine. No reserve. Check out my other auctions for more great deals.........I could ship this guitar with the neck off and stacked on top of the body to use a smaller box. This would save the wining bidder on shipping costs.
