Vintage 1965 Guild S-50 Jetstar, Cherry Red Firebird/Junior Screamer!

I'm selling my vintage 1965 Guild S-50 Jetstar solid body electric guitar.  The guitar is in good shape; it's been played a lot and has some nicks, but it's never been broken, the frets are in good shape and it stays in tune and plays wonderfully.  The action is very good, and the neck is straight.  The neck is thick, with a comfortable baseball bat profile.  It has the built in bridge cover/mute that's often missing from this model, and as far as I can tell the guitar is all original, except for the case.  It comes with a non-original hardshell case that fits well and protects it.

I'm a fan of student guitars like Les Paul Juniors, Esquires and the like, but I could never afford a real vintage LP Jr.  The Jetstar is an affordable and unique alternative, with a unique vibe all its own.  The pickup screams, and can generate tones form chunky to chimey.  To my ear it sounds like a mix between a mini humbucker and a p90.  The high strings sounds particularly round and bell like, while the low strings growl.  It would make a perfect slide, blues or garage rock guitar.  I think it's totally unique and beautiful and I'm going to miss it, but I just graduated from grad school and I need to raise some money.

This youtube video (not mine) does a good job of capturing the tone of the guitar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEfL-PtGGRs

The guitar is sold as is, with no returns, to the USA only.  I've done my best to describe it accurately, but I'm an amateur guitar nerd, not a professional.  If you have any questions feel free to ask.
