For your consideration is a very nice 1950's or 60's "AIRLINE" 6 String Acoustic Guitar.  It is in very good condition with no problems.  This is a smaller size guitar:  It is 36" from the tip of the peghead to the end of the body - it is 1 3/4" at the nut and the neck is nice & straight and it joins the body at the 12th fret.  The neck is slightly full, but not clubby - I found it very easy to  play.  The body of the guitar is 9 1/2" x 13 1/4" x 17 3/4"  - 3 1/4" thick at the front and 3 3/4" at the rear.  The body is bound both front and back & the neck is unbound.  The finish is a reddish brown to black sunburst on the front and back, but I would only be guessing about what woods were used.  The frets are unworn as is the neck.  The guitar has a short scale & with just 12 frets to the neck it is one of the easiest acoustic guitars I've ever played.  It is quite easy to bend strings & the intonation is spot on - the guitar is ladder braced.  If you have ever wanted an acoustic blues guitar this is it - not only is it typical of that period but this guitar has the sound heard on the recordings of the early black blues guitarists.  The guitar has open-back tuners that work very well - one of them (high E) is slightly bent, (See pict #5) however, it does not make any difference - it functions as it should. The frets are vintage brass & they have no wear.  I do not have the case.  The guitar has a single ply white guard.  If you have any questions or comments or need additional information or pictures please contact me.  Thanks for looking.
