Vintage RARE 1940's Kay Sherwood Standard Lapsteel Electric

Rare 1968 Kay Console Lapsteel Guitar. Most of these Valco-manufactured console guitars was badged as Supro and Airlines but this beauty bares the Kay name right on the pickup cover. The pots date to 1968. It is 100% original and includes all three legs and the original case as well. It is in very good condition with some wear to the white silkscreened trim above the knobs where the players hand would rest and/or strum. One of the leg-adjustment wingnuts is bent slightly but doesn't not affect setting the legs up securely. The legs are very long and can extend up to above 45 inches. It plays fantastic and the pots are quiet. The case is in very good condition as well with all working latches and hinges and the original handle still working great. We are going to miss this rare beauty!
